This is a new version of a card I made last valentines day for my husband. I never was happy with that version, so when I made this card I fixed the things I didn't like. These are the summer colors from the CC500. The HYCCT1401C was to include something to hold on to, so I thought of the pole on this carosel horse....boy did I hold on to that when I was little. Riding the carosel when my parents took all 5 of us kids to a local "tiny town" is such a comforting memory. Such a different feel from those giant, scary amusement parks we have today. Here's a little tip for all of you sending cards to the cancer center...I have been sending 4 at a time in a minela envelope. I actually took the time to stop at a US post office yesterdsay -not those postal stores that charge extra. When you are stuck using stsmps, you can't get the exact amount. Also, the real cost of mailing my package was much less than my estimated amount. I am lucky enough to have a small postal sub station close to my house. Have a wonderful weekend. TFL, Francie

Awwww, this is just beautiful and what a wonderful take on Dina's challenge - the way you've used these colours makes me want to run and make something with them right now. Absolutely lovely!

This too brings back memories of a very "small town" carnival I used to go to as a child. I could almost smell the popcorn/cotton candy while looking at this! Love how you colored this using the challenge colors... BEAUTIFULLY designed and executed!

I love your take on the challenge - and this is a beautiful image! Also - I see you used drywall tape in there - there should be extra points for that, though I don't know why! Love your shading on the horse. Thank you so much for playing along with my challenge and for supporting Hope You Can Cling To!
