I love using my die cutting machines and this was so fun to put together... Most was cut on the cricut using the Cindy Lu cartridge...yes that is a real book page and yes my Mom taught me not to color or rip pages out of books but I bought this at Big Lots with the thought of using all the pages and cover in craft projects so u thought that would make it alright!

So pretty! And I know how you feel about books. I have my mom (she volunteers at the library) pick up books that they won't even bother trying to sell so I can cut them up. This one makes such a cool detail. Thanks so much for playing in my challenge!

I use book pages quite a bit-like Paula, I buy really beat up old ones that I can't see anyone else reading or using. Love your delicate tree and bird die cut with the warm sunshine!
Gorgeous! What a great idea to buy a less expensive book with the express purpose of using it in crafts!! I love the bird and tree die cut. Elegant card!

Congrats on your HYCCT win!! Using a book for arting purposes feels weird at first but it doesn't take long to get over the 'idea' that your doing something wrong, lol. Love your mix of textures on this card.
