I've made another for Rebecca's Hope Floats challenge and this is also for Sabrina's Ways to Use It Challenge-symbols of hope. I started by stamping my ship image (which is larger than this) and then stamping my frame over it. I thought I'd just carefully place the sentiment to cover the excess image, but ended up cutting the frame out and layering it over a piece of work surface protector "dp" which has a bunch of spritzed and sponged stuff. I used ink pooled in pad lids to watercolor my image and frame. I used a grey marker around the frame to give more depth. My sentiment was stamped then punched. I then stamped off the anchor image and stamped it faintly (thought I was going to have a die cut anchor also, but it got excluded in the end...I probably have 3 more cards worth of elements on the "reject pile") I used a black marker along the edges of the punched piece and popped it for more definition. Added my metal corner pieces and layered on some blue and a black base and called it done.
