Lydia gave us a wonderful challenge to start off Hope You Can Cling To! She asked us to use a special technique to "raise up" part of our images. I had seen the Paper Tole technique used before, but never tried it. I did use dimensionals to separate my beach combers from the fishing boat image. Then I layered the lady's hair along with the man's shirt and head. The next layer is the man's shirt and head and the top layer is just the sleeve. Hard to get a photo to show the dimension, but I am sure you get the idea.
On a personal note, thank you to all who have asked about me! I am currently listed for a double lung transplant at UAB Medical Center! Now we just wait for God's perfect timing!

Kathleen, your cards are always lovely, but this is just so gorgrous I don't have the adjectives to describe it. You picked such a perfect image for the tole technique. The layout, colors and coloring are amazing. Pinned and faved. You are always in my prayers...13 years ago when I was in the ICU batteling septic shock, I had people from every faith praying for me. Tomorrow I will be in temple all day for Yom Kippur. There is a time when the rabbi asks us to call out the names of people in need of God's healing. I will certainly include you in the list.

Oh my goodness, this is absolutely stunning - you have captured all the perception of the paper tole in your picture, so we can all enjoy it! This card is SO going to make someone smile at MDA.
Glad to hear you are on the transplant list, and praying for God's perfect timing!!
