Today we say so long to Bridget as a FS hostess. She has been an excellent hostess & will be missed.
It was one of Bridget's cards that led me to the online watercolor class, so that's how I wanted to honor her today. I used distress markers directly to my stamp, then spritzed & pressed onto wet watercolor paper. I added some extra color too. After it was completely dry - by sitting in the breeze next to an open window - I stenciled a bit on the background & let some sequins fall. Bridget also does beautiful calligraphy that I could never do, so I use an elegant greeting.
Thank you Bridget for all you do, for your most kind comments, your encouragement & your friendship across the miles.
Thanks for stopping by.

Karen, sheer perfection, this has all the elements I absolutely love - watercoloring (a fab image too), lots of white space, just that tiny bit of sparkle with the sequins and an elegant sentiment - like I said, so many things that I love! Thanks so much for your kind and encouraging words, sending a big hug across the Pond! xx

Beautiful water coloring and love the dew drops that look like drops of water.
