For Featured Stamper Challenge 398.....
Parting is such sweet sorrow as we say goodbye to one of our hostesses -- of the most kind and beautiful women I have ever known -- my friend, Bridget Finlay.
Bridget's work is just beyond compare and it was incredibly hard to case her. I was in awe of all of her recent watercolor cards, and although most of them provided inspiration, I chose two here and here for my main inspiration. I made a watercolor collage, using three colors of ink, and stamps from CTMH. I kept her watercolor theme with a sentiment, but changed images and accessories. I added twine and some extra layers for my sentiment.
I will miss you as a teamie, Bridget!! XOXO
Please come play along HERE with us and help us honor her this week!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
life is something that happens only when you run out of cardstock
Beautiful card, Judy! I LOVE the look you achieved with the watercolor--the way it lightly runs out on the edges! The light stamping of the leaves is wonderful, too!

WOW! What an incredible watercolor collage! I had to look back about 5 times since this is so beautiful! I love how you framed your sentiment and yet didn't detract from your gorgeous artwork.

This is just lovely and such a wonderful tribute to Bridget. I think water coloring is one of the most difficult techniques to pull of successfully and you have definitely hit the mark with this beautifully crafted piece!
