This card is for my oldest younger sister Mary Ann. She lives in Washington state (which is way to far away from me).
The flowers are once again from a BirdsCard SVG file and the stamen from my dear friend Pam, who not only shared with me the stamen file but also the Happy Birthday file. You can find her blog here and the free stamen file: http://yorkiemomsblog.blogspot.com/2...amen-file.html
BirdsCard can be found here: http://www.birdscards.com/free-digit...lowers-leaves/
These items were cut on my Cricut using my Sure Cuts Alot softwear.
These gold mason jarlids with the daisy cut-outs were my inspiration for this card today. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1255198..._home_active_6 I used whole pearls from Jo Ann's in the centers. The border die is from SU and it is the first time I have tried to extend the length of one of their dies. (worked fine) It is tucked under the panel that is embossed with....YES... my go to EF, Swiss Dots! The leaves are Memory Box as is the swirly die. The tendrils were hand made. :-) This card is just a BIT top-heavy and photographing it was a challenge. I would just get the lighting/angle right and it would topple over. GRRRR...The seam binding is from my stash...and I used my Bowdabra to make a multi-bow which is hiding under the flowers.
Now, getting this to her so it looks something like this upon arrival is my next challenge!
Thank you SO much for stopping by to take a look! It is always appreciated.
Note: I have better luck forming the leaves with a bone folder and then using the styus in the middle to being up the petals. You have less paper wrinkling that way.(works great for butterfly wings as well)

Oh, Peggy, another absolutely gorgeous card! You are the Queen of gorgeous when it comes to this style! Wow! And I found it interesting (and I agree) about how you added dimension. I've noticed that too that a bone folder does leave fewer creases and makes for smoother shaping! Thanks for sharing this stunning card that your sister will cherish!! Hugs, sweet friend!

Peggy, I LOVE how you share such neat tips on how you made your cards. Just another example of your great generosity, how I appreciate how giving, kind, and supportive you have been with me--thank you!!!
Oh my, I LOVE the way the metallic brown cardstock just glimmers. Gorgeous and elegant flowers--perfect choice the large pearls in the middle and they support the stamen too, so smart!!! Your white flowers are really amazing, I love how they are placed and although I know this card was tough to photograph, it is so beautiful and hopefully worth all of your efforts to get it photographed, thank you. Beautiful birthday sentiment, I love the flourishes at the end of each word!!!
Your sister must have been THRILLED to receive this. How DID you mail it and did it arrive in the same shape we see here? Asking because I don't know how to send cards like this so that they are protected but don't cost the earth to send them too.
Thanks for sharing this, as usual, Peggy, I'm totally blown away by your artistry!!!
