I turned the watermelon palette into a Christmas card to add to my stash. Used the watercolor resist technique for the background and watercolored the poinsettia. Thanks for looking!

Cathy what an absolutely gorgeous, gorgeous Christmas card... Love the blending of the colours for the bg and it really enhances your most beautiful poinsettia... so very well done... love it...

You outdid yourself on this one. Truly beautiful -- love the watercolor resist and these may be watermelon colors, but they scream Christmas to me. I love it!

Oh my gosh, Cathy, you and I had the same idea. I immediately thought of my Pointsettias. I love your watercoloring, and I especially love your layout. A beautiful card!

LOL, watermelon poinsettia seems to be a theme. I guess now that July is over and we're into the second half of the year people are starting to gear up towards the Christmas cards. DTGD was great for me that way - I caught up with my July quota if nothing else.

I'm not a big fan of Poinsettias IRL, but I always love them when I see them on Splitcoast. Yours is beautiful....I love your colouring and your background is absolutely AWESOME!!
