Fun challenge cause I love dots! After stamping & coloring the cake, I fussy cut it because I knew the tall candles would end up very close to the top. On the top of the background, I white embossed the polka dot background..I think the white on white adds a nice texture without making it look too busy.
I added a die cut fancy border w/ a blue ombre strip behind the top that I just colored w/ Copics. The greeting was stamped in the opening & some sequins added for a little sparkle.

Julei, you are filling up my pinterest page...I always love your cards. How did you have the patience to cut out those candles. The blue stripped border is terrific and your coloring is out of this world. You always inspire me to try to find the time to practice with some tutorials on copics...mine always bleed out of the lines. Stunning card.
