This is for two challenges F4A230 Bright and Beautiful, WT488 (Open the Gate)
NO, I did not watercolor this paper. It is probably the OLDEST DP I own. It is the very first paper stack I ever bought at Michaels. The colors actually are very bright and intense...this is not a good photo. The IO butterflies were cut with paper from the same stack. The corners are Cheery Lynn. the sentiment SU and the label Spellbinder. The butterflies overlap to hold the gatefold shut as well as the label.
Thanks for stopping by to take a look!

So very beautiful, Peggy. I love the gorgeous colors on the dp and you did an awesome job with the design of this card. Your die cuts are perfect and the butterflies are so pretty. Great card.

Way to go using a well hoarded or was it forgotten piece of paper! :-) Isn't it amazing how, in all the paper we own, we still remember getting it? This is a beautiful creation. I love the soft colours and how you were able to match the 'underwing' colours for your butterflies. It would be interesting to see the real card since you comment that it is much brighter IRL. I am trying to do some different folds myself. I am so staid in my card making. TFS

So pretty! That DP is great - sure looks like hand made water color. The butterflies and label closure are perfect and the graduated gems on the butterflies are so cool.
