Today I had the joyful experience of meeting Susie (PaperPunchScissors) and her husband Vance. My husband Ed and I met them for lunch in Temecula California. She is as delightful as she is talented and we quickly left our husbands in the dust as we went right into "card making speak". She brought a few of her lovely cards for me to see IRL and they were breathtaking! I will be going back to re-comment on the cards she brought with her. It is so amazing to see her details! We discussed techniques, manufacturers, card making styles and some of the joys and trials of card making! I loved every minute of it! As she left she gifted me with one of her beautiful cards and I will treasure it ALWAYS. The only thing better would have been if we had been able to do some creating...together. Yes, the four of us did have some conversation that did not involve our craft. (smiling) It was a very lovely afternoon.

How lucky for both of you!! What a fun experience. Both of you are incredible designers and I'd have loved to see what you came up with together, combining both amazing talents! What a great photo of the two of you! It's always fun to meet a Splitcoaststamper.

What a grand time we had meeting with you and Ed! And for those who read Peggy's post - the four of us did not lack for conversation in the least! Peggy and I have been pen-pals since Vance and I lived in Arizona but didn't get a chance to meet in IRL before we returned to Virginia. What a blessing it was to have an entire afternoon to get to know one another IRL. Peggy you and Ed have an open invitation to come visit. We'll create cards to our hearts content *giggle* Big hugs my friend.

Kathleen, our one son lives in San Jacinto next door to Hemet. We go to the movies with them there. You would not believe how much it has grown. They JUST opened a new Hobby Lobby in Hemet! It is growing rapidly... and you are right...traffic and cost of living :-( We live in an even smaller rural town about 40 min away from Hemet on the back road up to Big Bear. (Hwy 3

What a lucky pair you two are! I can only imagine the fun and laughter that went on in that restaurant! It is always so exciting when you finally get to see 'the real person' instead of just your (as my son calls them) 'imaginary cyber friends'! LOL Way to go.
