For the scrapbook theme challenge 14, option 2 (siblings).
One of the requirements was to include a poem, so I used a verse from "Oh, the Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss (I hope that counts!). It's in the top left rectangle, and reads:
" You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You're on your own. And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go.
-Dr. Seuss".
The journaling is on the bottom left rectangle and reads "I love these photos of Jon. He looks so dashing in his fatigues from Civil Air Patrol. I'm incredibly proud to be his sister."
The paint chips on the side of the left photo were bought at a LSS a few years ago, and the colors are called "Brother, Champion, Defender, Treasure".
Jon is actually my step brother, but we have been very close until last year or so. Why is 17 such a horrible age?!
I scraplifted the idea for the layout from Scrapbooks, Etc. magazine.
