This is my card for this week's WTUI challenge from Michelle ~ Balloons .
It's also for this week's CCEE Stampers challenge from Shirley.
For obvious reasons Shirley has asked us to create a card using red, white and blue, but it doesn't have to be patriotic. I love this little mouse pieced in red and blue, so he was an obvious choice. With a bit of careful masking I added the balloons from the same set to give a fun, celebratory feel.
Remembering a recent TLC from Joan when she asked us to fill the background with border dies, this chevron background had been in my mind to try.
Mouse is pieced, layered on black, lots of white dots added everywhere since they helped the letters to stand out
Excuse any typos, I'm away from home till the weekend and don't have anything other than my phone with me ;-)

this is such a cute card Sabrina-and a great way to make something new from an older stamp-I really like the chevron bg-fits so well with this little mouse

What a fun card! Love the colors - of course - and that it's not a patriotic card (which of course you wouldn't make)! That's a happy little mouse and I love his paper pieced outfit!
