WooHoo it is Tickle A Teapotter week. I had the honour of writing this weeks story, where young Mary from outback Australia is traveling the world. Mary accidentally deleted all of her photos, so our challenge is to bring cards that will rekindle her memories of the many homes she stayed in.
Here we have Matilda and little sister Molly. I had planned on Matilda and Molly being twins but Molly was too tall and the top of her head was higher than the window. It saddens me to say that I had to amputate both of MollyÂ’s legs and put her behind the window, now she just looks short which is better than legless.
I pre-made most of this card before DH and I left on our little caravan holiday. I carefully packed some die-cut grass, little flowers and a tree which still needed to be added. I have torn this caravan apart and cannot find that box. Hence this card is not quite how I planned. I added a bit of trellis and a leafy flourish that I found at the bottom of my craft bag. We will be home Thursday so I have plenty of time to add all the garden trimmings before sending it to my tickle recipient.
We are about to drive into a town so I can get internet coverage to upload this. Last night I climbed half way up a tree and held my ipad in the air to get internet so I could comment on the Favs of the Week thread. I joked that I might have to email DH to come and get me out of the tree (then I realised that wouldn’t work as he would have to be in the same tree in order to get the internet). Do you have the saying, “it’s all good fun until someone gets hurt”…I made a very ungraceful exit from the tree, no lasting injuries though and most importantly my ipad is fine.
Thank you for looking and I hope you all have a terrific week.

Darling Susie, your card is a true work of art - I just came back from Ohio, visiting stiz2003, and have seen FIRSTHAND, how amazing these wonderful cards you CRAFT really are, as Nancy has hers displayed for all to see. One day I hope to own a "susie australia" original, so I can study it and learn to craft like the true artist YOU are.
So sorry for the double amputation on Molly's legs, but the finished card is one to die for, with all its details, especially the hello from down under! Love your stories, and can just picture you up in a tree, holding your iPad aloft trying to get a signal - Oooooh, my cheeks have tears running down them from laughing! Thanks for the giggles!!

I hope your snail mail is there when you get home! It never fails when you travel and take things to make something you end up not having everything you need! I LOVE Matilda holding her envelope full of goodies off to bring cheer to someone's life. I always love your attention to detail...right down to the stitching on Matilda's face a leg...looks like she has been climbing trees too! I hope you are having a wonderful Holiday...This is faved and pinned!

So adorable, as always, and also fabulous details, so glad you didn't fall out of the tree. You are about the most loyal teapotter! I thought of you today...I was trying to get a good image with my stamp it was not working till I put it on the floor and stood on it...no, I didn't fall, but almost...I should have learned by your example...LOL!

Super cute card! Wow, everything you do is an adventure and your posts are sooooo fun to read Susie! I have climbed on rocks in order to get cell service and once I drove 2 miles up a mountain, but I have never tried trees. We live in a valley surrounded by hills so we don't have cell service no matter what we try. Fun stuff and I am sure whoever gets this will be thrilled (even it if makes some side trips along the way - LOL). Hugz!!!
