What a kind, generous, and creative pick for this weeks Featured Stamper, Julie! Peggy has a gallery full of beautiful work, especially butterflies. And so while my case is not based on an exact card, I think it celebrates the essence of what Peggy loves and creates. Hope you 'catch' it...
I had a nice leisurely stroll through Peggy's gallery on Sunday...so many beautiful cards...but I had to ponder creating a card in her honor and it came together with the Sketch Challenge 490. I broke out several of my long hoarded cloud papers...hopefully you feel the ethereal beauty of Peggy's beloved butterflies. I used the wonderful quote from Flavia:
Cut not the Wings of your DREAMS for they are the
heartbeat and the freedom of your SOUL.
May our hearts be light as the wings of a butterfly, ever soaring towards our true homes! Enjoy this honor, Peggy...I know your heart is truly light...

What a funky card. I love it flipped and I should not be looking as I didn't do mine yet. This is wonderful. I can see why you hoarded the cloud paper. I love your card. Now I am going to try to make one with my dirty fingers. Planting flowers all day so far....

Oh Susan, I hoarded that very paper for a looong time! It is a perfect match for your sentiment and your wings. Beautiful tribute to Peggy; a generous soul if ever there was one. :-) Love the blue/grey/mauves of your card too!

Susan I absolutely love your gorgeous card with the lovely fluffy clouds, sentiment and butterfly. this is such a great tribute to Peggy... I just heard the news that Maya Angelou had passed away and this card also depicts the type of poem that she wrote and how she lived... just lovely....
