Congratulations Peggy (jasonw1) on becoming our newest featured stamper. I enjoyed looking through your beautiful gallery. Here is the lovely card that inspired me Butterfly Thanks
I used the hexagon hives die cut instead of the embossing folder. Used similar colours. I already had the butterfly made - so it was the perfect time to use it. I just received my hexagon hives die cut and hardwood backgrounder stamp in the mail on Friday and really wanted to use them.
Thanks for the inspiration, Peggy.
Enjoy your time in the spotlight.
Hugs..Pat

That background is amazing! Love your new Hexagon die and hardwood stamp. Your butterfly simply ROCKS! SO original in the way you stamped it and sponged it giving a whole scene within the butterfly wings themselves! VERY cool! I love the stitching around the edges giving it such a "finished" look. AND lastly I love how you have used one of the cut Hexagons for your sentiment...This is such a creative CASE of my card! Thank you...

Pat, this is fabulous! Love the die combined with the woodgrain and the butterfly with a touch of the orient! What a delightful, creative take on Peggy's card!
