hi there,
Today we are being inspired by the Design Love Fest site and here is the vase that inspired me: http://www.designlovefest.com/2014/04/make-it-53/
The bkg was not what I had started out to create. I inked a chalk board bkg. stamp with Distress inks and sprayed with a generous amount of water but when I stamped it, all you could see were puddles of colour and no words. So I inked it again, sprayed with water and stamped again in the other direction. I like how it all ended up blending together. I stamped the flower and sentiment when it was dry and done. Now I want to go try doing the same thing with some of my other bkg. stamps.
thanks for looking,

Karen, you're just blowin' me away lately with your watercolor backgrounds - they are just amazing! They're bold, dramatic, and even soft - they're just wonderful.

Just gorgeous - you would never know you had a problem with puddling!! I love this look with the bold black for your image and sentiment!
