This is one of two cards I created for the CC475 color challenge "Point Me To A Real Pie" - Pacific Point, Real Red and Pumpkin Pie. It was totally inspired by this card I saw on Loll Thompson's blog:
I've been concerned about making a card for my husband's upcoming birthday, because my mojo has been pretty much AWOL the last couple of weeks. When I saw Loll's card it was like a light bulb went on over my head! Thank you, Loll!
Basically, I scribbled oil pastels, blended the individual colors slightly with OMS using a stump, and applied the gold Ferro paste through the stencil. I may have to seal it - will have to wait and see on that and hope that if I do the fixative doesn't dull the shine from the Ferro.
This was so easy, and so quick, but IMHO it looks terrific. I'm very pleased with it!
As always, thanks for looking!
