I loved Barbie's sponged bg and I used a fleur de lis negative frame to mask and sponge using frayed burlap and stormy sky distress inks. I also stamped leaves lightly onto the sponged area. When I removed the negative frame I noticed a small mark on the right side of the card - darn! Hence the reason for the embossing - it hid the mark but also the stamping on the sponged area!!
My punched vase is a RAK from Mary (jandjccc), I added the dots and stripes with a white gel pen. Die cut the leaf foliage, placed the prima flower and added the rhinestones and sentiment. Backed this onto c/s sponged with the distress inks and popped up, using dimensionals, onto the card base.
Congratulations, Barbie, and have a wonderful week in the spotlight!! TFL!

LOTS of creativity going on here my friend! I love the use of the die negative to sponge...genius! I also LOVED the embossing to cover the mark...brilliant idea... I may have to borrow that one from you! I have spritzed the whole card sometimes to blend in an oops! :-) Love your flower and leaves so charmingly displayed in the decorated vase! This is a wonderful case of Barbie's card.... a fav for sure!
