I use PSE 11. The stitched circles are a splatter in the kit so they were already made. To do the light green masking I added a layer by going to "create a layer" above the layers side on PSE. I then used some brushes on that layer until I got the effect I wanted. I then clipped a paper to it. For the photo mask I again created a layer. Above the blank layer I placed the photo. I then clipped the photo to the blank layer. Your photo will disappear when you do this. On the blank layer I then used some brushes ( you can use the same brush or a variety of brushes). For this one I used some Bubble brushes. When you use the brushes it will begin to reveal the photo that you clipped to it. Just keep using the brushes until you have the effect you want. You can still "move" the photo and readjust it at this point. When you have it to where you want it then merge the "stamped" layer and your photo together. It's an easy technique that I love to do. Hope that helps. If you need some more clarification (if it's clear as mud! lol) just leave a comment here and I'll respond.
