It's been a little while since I've done a sketch, so I'm glad I made it With that being said, for some reason I have a real problem with most tilted sketches. I think they look great on someone else's card but rarely on mine. So I'll confess right now...after I took this pic, I pried the panel up and straightened it.
After stamping, coloring and die cutting the zinnia, hummingbird, border, tag & white backing behind the zinnia, I put it all together. The panel behind the zinnia is made up of leftover strips of the dp I put together.
Thanks so much for looking! I'll have it on my blog in just a bit w/ this pic & the straightened pic, lol. You can decide which you like best. The Write Stuff

My DD said if she ever started a card company she'd call it the crooked edge as she never was bothered by things like that....not me! I can't tell you how many times I played with the angles on my cards today!!!! Love the hummingbird as your oval element and the layered die cut strip is so pretty too!

oh that's too funny, I thought the same thing, Julie! And when I was making my card, I so wanted it straightened up...this is beautiful with your very technical coloring and the depth...you go girl stretching the boundaries and then retreating ever so slightly!

Well I like tilted panels! ...but they have to look well and truly tilted otherwise I think it is a mistake and needs fixing. :-) Nothing needs fixing on this beauty though. Love the hot warm zinnia colours and that flashy hummingbird!

Wow, and wow. This is so pretty. I love the hummingbird, and you have colored it beautifully. I had to laugh when I read , that you lifted the panel up, and straightened it. I have done the same thing at times. I love this card. I'm sure it is still just as beautiful. It's a fave. tfs.

Well, Julie, I am with you! I always have difficulty with sketches that are tilted (or wonky, as I call them!). But, my friend, this is fabulous! I LOVE your colors and the fabulous design and your precious hummer and zinnia! Fabulous, and you and I both need to do more of these! LOL! Hugs, sweet friend!
