Well...about 30 tries and I got one that worked. Seriously I have piece of black painted brayered cardstock all over my desk. I'm hoping I can find a way to use all of them.I stamped the birds and light house using black stazon ink. I used white colored pencil to add some details. I put drywall tape at the bottom. I used brads and twine to frame the image. When it was all done. I decided to add some stars for the WT467 challenge. When looking at it I realized that the birds were flying at night. It got me wondering what scared them, since birds don't usually fly unless they get startled... I will just have to guess.

I haven't even tried Lydia's challenge yet - yesterday was one of those days that if anything could go wrong it did, and I wasn't going to add to the opportunities. This has turned out wonderfully, MariLynn - and perfect for adding little twinkling stars to .
Wow, what an awesome scene! Love all the details you described. I'm sure after seeing this beautiful piece of art that you can and will find a clever way to use all those black pieces.

Maybe it is just a storm before nightfall and they need to figure out where to go to weather the storm. Sensational creation...I can feel the wind blowing and see the stars trying to shine.

well your 31st attempt is certainly worth all the extra paper you have now!!! I love the scale of this with the lighthouse, twine, starry night sky and yes, we'll just have to ponder those night soaring birds!
