This LOVEFEST challenge is in honour of Taylored Expressions and the fun technique of doodling.
Since learning colouring with distress inks and baby wipes over at the mixed media challenges, I have become a bit obsessed with coloured backgrounds.
I coloured the background first, swished and blobbed a baby wipe in various places. Stamped a background stamp randomly all over. My original plan was to stamp the verse in the middle and doodle around the edge of the card.
I stamped crocked and it really stood out so I restamped the verse on white cardstock and quickly wiped the original babywipe over the cardstock to colour it. I then cut out each word, stuck it down here and there, then made it look like I had done it on purpose by doodling around each word.
I often doodle a border using a very fine micron pen, but I needed to pull out the heavy duty Aqualip pen to stand out on the intense background.

WOW Susie! My favorite stamp, umbrella man! I love the way you echoed the sentiment and the rich, fabulous colors! I am going to have to try this technique for sure!

Whew! I'm drama-ed out now. Lord, I LOVE this! I love the blue, the repetition of sentiment....you would think as jumbled as my head is that I could figure out MM. Until I do, however, I'll just secretly CASE yours and weep. <snort> You know I love this, right? ;)
