It has been ages since I made a card for the Mixability Challenge and I had so much fun making this! This is also for this week's F4A Challenge - to make a Valentine card.
Firstly, I embossed the Poppy Parade card with the hearts EF and then sprayed with the Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist - it is not showing up so much in the photo but has a lovely gold glimmer to it. This I backed onto patterned dp. I die cut the heart in both gold & white. The white heart I coloured red using waterpaint and aqua painter. Once dry, I stamped the swirl and heat embossed with gold. I let it cool, and then applied Poppy Parade ink straight from the pad. I used the die negative in the gold and embossed with the music EF. I stuck down the gold heart and popped up the red heart, using dimensionals. The gold ribbon is much more gold IRL and, as I did not have gold pearls, coloured white pearls using Stampin' Dazzle marker. When finished I wasn't happy with the white card so coloured the white edges with the gold marker, too!
TFL!!
