Took a class awhile back from Donna Downey on Pan Pastels but didn't try it until today. Guess I was scared. hehe Today I went back and re-watched her video and gave it a shot......details...
This tree, which reminds me of the movie Beetle Juice, was included as a download in her class so I re-sized it to fit my card. Used Pan Pastels for the leaves. Punched out the hearts coloring them with PP.
Drew the little "heart" birdie because what would a Mutnik card be without something hand drawn on it. hehe
Added the dry wall tape so this would work for the MIX challenge. Also added a few extra hearts making one yellow to add more color. Done.
I totally enjoyed using the PP and plan on trying them again real soon.
Haven't shared a story in awhile and since this one is about "hearts" here goes......when my nephew was really young he had to have his "heart" X-rayed. When the doctor showed him the picture he became really sad. We asked him what was wrong and his reply was, "my heart doesn't have a point on it". He thought that was what his problem was. Oh how little minds think. He is now in his 40's and doing fine.
Have a great weekend all. We are getting some much needed rain here and snow in the mountains. Yahoo!!!......TFL :0)
Hi Sis!
P.S......go here to see how One4Joy used an actual heart stamp. hehe
