Yesterday the Teapotters made birthday cards for Rose who is 103 yrs old this month! She loves roses and when I picked the paper, I thought the flowers looked like the beautiful, blooming vintage roses I used to grow. When I finished my card I wondered if I was wrong and if they're peonies? Whichever they are, I think they're beautiful and I hope Rose does, too.
I used the current Stamplorations #5 sketch, which I discovered on Stephanie's Ingenious Inkling blog. Stephanie used patterned paper on her card and I cased it.
Thanks for looking!

Oh so pretty! I just love that paper with the roses on it -- so vintage and beautiful.

Hmm - I see what you mean about looking like peonies, but look at the buds and the leaves - old-fashioned sweet-scented roses for sure. Gorgeous papers and a wonderfully-layered sentiment make this such a lovely card.
