I had so much fun with these challenges! I took a different approach to the create your own stamp. 11 year old Brianna draws constantly. I was particularly impressed with the expression and detail she uses in her critters' eyes including the highlights. She loves drawing imaginary critters. She gave me this sketch of a parrot drawn in pencil on typing paper. I scanned it, resized it and made myself a digital stamp. The artwork is all hers as she drew it. He is colored with copics and pencils Background is done with distress inks and water. A stencil was used on portions of it. I used a piece of splicing thread from lacing rugs and died it in distress reinker. How neat that I now have a source of original, digital stamps! Thank you Brianna Stislow!

Oh Nancy, this is just amazing! Now you have your own private stamp source! Brianna's drawing and your coloring are a great combination. Your added stitching, the button and bow are perfect. Love this.
