Vicki's wonderful colors this week shouted "Party!" to me and Ally's wonderful sketch (I took a few liberties...) gave me the mojo to make a Lunar New Year card for my son the Japanese historian. These aren't exactly traditional colors, but I think that he will forgive me...
Stamped the lanterns and sentiment in turquoise on cantaloupe and heat embossed with turquoise EP. Fussy cut the lanterns and used the oval dies to fashion a banner for the sentiment. Stamped the lunar scene on black on yellow and mounted to the back of the window (used watercolor paper for the window for more texture). Mounted the chair rail strips on the embossed BG, added the other elements and done.
Vicki, my dessert is the window "frame!" giggle... PT - 3
Thanks Ally and Vicki for the inspiration, thank you all for looking and have a peaceful day.
