What a fun challenge from Cathy today - Lovely Wreaths! After spending too much time trying to make a presentable woven ribbon wreath, I turned to my stamps and determined that finally I was going to produce something with All Season Wreath that was worth turning into a card. This was the third attempt, if not the fourth.
I drew a circle in pencil and marked it into sixths with my compass and then used the SAMJ to stamp the twig stamp to form my wreath. I added red Liquid Pearls for the berries, and some Stickles. Then when it was dry I sponged a bit around the edges and wondered where to go next....
Decided to make it a frame for the bird, so I stamped the bird in the centre, coloured the bird and sponged more heavily with the green and added blue in the centre, and white gel pen accents. It's layered on distressed brown Bazzill, decorated with Vintage Corners and put on a cream Bazzill Bling base. I think this will be my Christmas card for a bird-loving aunt who was widowed earlier this year.

This is LOVELY! I never would have thought to put this bird inside a wreath, but it's perfect! And the snow falling, and the warm brown around the outside - absolutely gorgeous!
