Dawn gave us the technique of "Inlay Die Cuts". I needed to make two cards: one for a happy occasion and one for a not-so-happy circumstance. Her challenge afforded me the opportunity to do both. For the sympathy card, I die cut another fern and used it as a stencil to create my bg with Distress Inks and a dauber.

Oh, Sallie, glad to see you back in the gallery. Both of the cards are stunning, but I especially love the sympathy card. Such soft colors and so tastefully done. Two fantastic cards with one technique :-)

Gorgeous cards Sallie! You have an incredible talent for designing! Love the patterned paper die cut and the way you used it on the second card. Fabulous again!

Beautiful and innovative, Sallie! Both of these have such beautiful qualities that are as individual as you! I love the magic you work with the Mr. Huey Sprays! I also love that beautiful fern die cut!
