****** photo shows card with stack closed and stack flipped down ******
This card is doing double duty for me today! I uploaded it this morning for the CCEE Stampers, but now I can 'fess up and say that it's also for Teresa's Stand Tall challenge over in the HYCCT forum.
This is for Anne's challenge to the CCEE Stampers to use lot of flowers on our cards to mark the anniversary of the release of "You Don't Bring me Flowers".
Funny story: DH was in Portugal for a few days back in July. After a couple of texts I'd sent him had gone unanswered I sent another one saying "You don't bring me flowers, you don't sing me love songs, you don't send me texts any more". Only the last was true ;-), and since he was born singing and has a song for every occasions he was tickled by it.
I used the Mix37 Gridiron and Hash Tags challenge to make the flowers for the front of my card, using TH Tattered Floral and various old book pages. For my grid lines I used pencil and gold and silver pens. I arranged them on some script DP and then added two layers of Mod Podge.
For the card I used my own Flip Down Stack tutorial on SCS. I used grey card, cream organza and a gold pearlescent card. The flowers from Botanical Blooms and sentiment from Flourishes were stamped on the pearlescent card and I coloured the flowers with H2Os.
Stamps: Botanical Blooms, Flourishes Strut Your Stuff
Paper: DCWV, grey Core-dinations, various old books
Paper Size: European DL
Ink: Versafine Black, Stazon Black,
Accessories: TH Tattered Florals, pencil, gold, silver & black pens, H2Os, brad, photo-turn, ribbon, Mod Podge, Stickles, microbeads for centre of front flower
