Here's my card for this week's CAS Pets/Holiday Pets Challenge. I'm always using the puppy from this great stamp set, so I decided to ink up this sweet kitty. Isn't he cute?!
I inked him up with Jet Black StazOn onto watercolor paper and used my Blender Pen to color him with Crumb Cake ink. The yarn is colored with Real Red ink and the everything is shaded and grounded with Smoky Slate ink. This panel is layered on Real Red cs and then adhered to the Crumb Cake card base. I accented the top with a 1" strip of Real Red Polka Dot Parade DSP and a strip of scalloped Whisper White cs. To finish it off, I added a button/Baker's Twine combo to the main image with a Mini Glue Dot.
Then...disaster struck! I had some ink on my the side of my hand and brushed it across the bottom right corner of the card! GASP!!!! How do I save this card?! I know...I grabbed my 3/4" Circle Punch and punched it out. Oh well...it makes it interesting now. LOL...

Maybe kitty was hungry for some cardstock! The notched corner does add interest to the card, so kudos to you for cleverly fixing it. I love that adorable image! Your dp, border punch and cute button treatment just top this one off Regina!

I love this, Regina!
SO glad to hear the mess up story too. That hole is a great way to add a little humor to a pretty card, lol! I can just picture a mouse in there hiding.....

Love that kraft, red, and cream colour scheme! That is such a cute kitten image and as others have said, the twine is the perfect embellishment. Your card is wonderful!
