I am so far behind on the QFTD cards! I love this challenge - all the Queens are so sweet as well as talented; they got heart. One of the biggest hearts of all is Pat Smethers (aka Blooms in Box). I have learned so much from this lady! The thing I cherish the most is how she has taught me to share my heart with paper. I could go on and on, but I am sure you are already nodding your head in agreement as she has touched so many people at SCS.
I needed a very special Sympathy card for one of my co-supervisors. She lost her husband this past week. I chose this sweet Pat original to case:
I changed a lot so I won't bore you with the details, but I kept the same basic layout and dual focus on the flowers and image. Pat loves browns and lace so I made sure to include them.
Thanks for all you do sweet girl! Hugz and LYMI

Oh sister.....your work is amazing! Those roses speak love. Your coworker will be so touched. The music score in the bg is so heart warming, I can hear the song in my head. Your thoughtful attention to detail is incredibly sweet. And, just so you know, you have had heart on your cards from day one. I know. I saw it! Lymimimimi <-----bazillions!

Nancy, all of your cards have so much jam packed into them - this one is no exception - I love that you used an old hymnal page for the background and the roses cascading down the side of the image panel, are a true comfort. I KNOW, that this card will bring your coworker peace in her heart, because it is what you share whenever you reach out and touch someone with your hand or heart! HUGE hugz and Love to you, my sweet sistah!!
