Happy Tuesday everyone. I made my card for a few challenges. Today's colour challenge - strawberry pie, pumpkin pie, daffodil delight, island indigo and pool party. You can use 3 of the colours or all five. I used strawberry pie, pumpkin pie and pool party (I used the closest colours that I had#. This is also for this weeks teaparty Here are the details.
This week our cards are going to Arlington Tx. if you wish a destination for your card; how about sending it to Doreen. She was brought to our attention by her sister Diann #SCS member westiemom#
Challenge Translation:
Bring strawberries!! By the bowl, by the peck or by the wheelbarrow...just bring them. Well trained beagles are welcome too, as is scripture.
I'm a little late playing in Friday's Queen for the day challenge. This week we will be celebrating Queens who's Screen Names start with P-R .
I am honouring Pat Smethers #Blooms in a Box#. She is such a wonderfully sweet, kind and loving lady. I have met her in person #twice# and even played in her stamp room and enjoyed hers and her hubby's #Bubba, Bill, Buckleman) company. Thanks for your loving friendship and all you do here on SCS - we can all feel you big "HEART"..# LYMI
Here is the card Tawny's Birthday that inspired me. Pat's critter album is full of cute little critters and I knew that I had to use a critter on my card.
Thanks for looking,
Hugs..Pat

WooHoo Miss Pat, this is adorable. I love everything about it. I love all the panels and your stitching is great. This is a gorgeous card for Doreen and a lovely way to honour our Miss Blooms!!!

Your little mouse is darling Pat. And I agree that Pat Smethers is a huge inspiration to all of us here on SCS. Great tribute to her and I'm sure Doreen will love the card.

Pat,
Aaaahhh, I love this sweet image and you've colored it up perfectly! The DP is lovely and the die you've used to frame out the image is awesome! Your card is wonderful and adorable.

What a wonderful selection of berry-coloured papers perfectly stitched together, as always, to make a lovely setting for that wee mouse. He looks adorable on a card, but it always annoyed me no end to find that birds - or other critters! - had been nibbling at fruit in my garden.

I'm soooo behind visiting the gallery SO GLAD I didn't miss this one. Love those House Mice, tee hee, he sure did enjoy those yummy looking strawberries - colored beautifully, laid out wonderfully, stitching rocks, and the card itself a tribute to a fine sister stamper- Blooms herself. Love, Love, Love this sweet and loving creation.
