The challenge for today? Red, white and blue!! And patriotic dessert......I hope it's okay that just for this one time I had the perfect card for the challenge, as another group I am in challenged me with patriotic, and having not a star stamp in the HOUSE I had to get creative and make my own flag.....my brain was too tired to do it again!! The white on my card is the stitching on the star patch, since my card is a primitive flag....and the crumb cake is one of my neutrals. It was fun to make my flag from nothing.....I was pretty happy with how it turned out. I used the direct to paper technique, rubbing some ink right on my stripes....this card was FUN to make!!! Happy 4th everyone!!

FAB vintage-Americana looking flag! LOVE that you made it from "scratch". Nice inking and clever to use the rhinestones as the stars. Happy Independence Day to you!

Awesome flag!!! Love the rustic look you achieved with the Kraft cs and distressed edges....and your field of stars is the perfect finish for this fabulous tribute to Old Glory. TFS this inspiring creation!
