CAS Challenge CAS227 is Summer! and nothing screams summer more to me than July 1 Canada Day when we get together as a family to celebrate with a barbecue! Rain or shine, we've been meeting at my brother's place for almost 30 years wearing our red and white to honour our Canadian flag! We're not a large family and sometimes a couple of the grandkids are off doing their own things, but it's a tradition I love. We'll take the family photo and drink a toast to my mum who is no longer with us, and share memories, while creating new ones!
I stamped my trio of maple leaves in red and then stamped the sentiment - which is from the Canadian National Anthem - and cut it out with Spellbinders and created a little tag with some gingham ribbon. I'll give the card to the bbq hosts tomorrow on July 1.
Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians!!

Great card, sharp design, clean colours! And very Canadian! Family gatherings are always special and a good way to celebrate our 146 years! Greetings from Aurora, Ontario as we celebrate 150 years old! And tomorrow happy 4th of July to our neighbours
