This week the tea party is for Jesse in North Carolina. Connie (Stamp300) let us know about his medical issues and that he could use some cheering up. Sheri asked us to bring an Appaloosa horse with spots. I had no idea how that would look, so thank you Google! The horse is a digi by Stampin Dragon Designs. I colored it with Copic markers using the cool gray colors. The background image was a gift from Emily from almost a year ago. It is such a pretty stamp, Thank You again Emily! I tried to keep the colors on the masculine side. Speaking of sides, on the inside is the verse,
I hereby command you: Be strong and courageous do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
Thanks for taking a peek!

That dotted bg is perfect for the lovely oval scene. I love the broken fence and how you positioned the Magestic Appaloosa right out there in his new found freedom!

That dappled horse is just beautiful, Kathleen. I still need to find time to look up Appaloosas, I don't think I've ever come across them over here. I love the little framed oval country scene behind your horse, too.

Gorgeous creation, Kathleen, sure to cheer Jesse! Your appaloosa couldn't be more perfect set amongst that lovely (and beautifully colored) serene scene. Wonderful!

I love your little Appy, Kathleen! This is a fantastic card and scene, with the Appy being in the forefront! I love your choice of verses for the inside! This card will be a treasure for Jesse!
