Today's Free For All Challenge is to repeat something and the MIX challenge is yin/yang I'm combing the two. And since I needed another wedding card (getting to be that time of year, lol), I combined the two. And for my repetition, I gold embossed one window on ivory card stock, and embossed another one using verdigris embossing powder. I die cut the verdigris window and attached the frame on top of the gold embossed window. This is also part of the Yin/Yang since the gold embossing is very smooth and the verdigris is very rough & textured. Some subtle coloring was added to the stained glass using Copic markers.
The window is on top of a die cut quatrefoil background (another rough texture) and I attached it on top of a very pale green panel before attaching to my 5.50 x 4.25 card. Little dots from a gold Pearl Pen were added in the centers.
Thanks so much for looking! I'll have it on my blog in just a sec: The Write Stuff

This is just beautiful Julie!!! The detail is amazing! Love the VERY pretty colors used used for the stained glass! Your die cuts all work so perfectly together, it is like they were made to do just that...but instead your creative and clever mind put it together! LOVE it!!!
Oh Wow! Fabulous Wedding Card, Julie. Just keep going back and looking at your beautiful card.
