Congrat’s to this weeks Featured Stamper, smoatsmom, aka Colleen Dietrich! I’m not sure it’s wise to choose one of the most amazingly spectacular cards in her gallery because there’s just no way I could do it justice, but I’ve had it in my favourites and could not resist – HERE it is. I changed the frame using two Nestie Rectangles and adding flourishes at the top and bottom using MFT’s Framing Flourish Die-namics. I was trying for sort of a wrought iron look. I added the sentiment on a double ended banner of vellum – it’s attached with dimension using black brads and the ends are curled up though it’s hard to see in the photo. I didn’t have anything like the gorgeous realistic butterfly images that Colleen used, but these Hero Arts images are as close as I could get. They’re coloured with copics and I used a white gel pen to accent them.

Bridget, this is positively stunning. I am so glad you went into detail in your description because I thought the black was all one die. Your coloring is gorgeous.
