Well Curt herd that Pryce, Johnny and Benji-boy were hitting the greens real early in hopes of ditching the dignitaries. He has camped out on the 18th hole soÂ…ONE-he can sleep in a little later andÂ…TWO-get to see the trio as they finish their game.
To make sure he doesnÂ’t over sleep, he has brought his trusting camp guard dog with him. They both have on their red bandanas so they can catch a little shut eye just like Benji-boy does. hehe
You know this scene is the reverse of what happened to us on a camping trip at Dillon Beach one year. It was our first time there. As we drove to find our camping spot, we noticed ropes around peopleÂ’s campsites. I always wondered why until that night.
The kids and I were in our tent with the door open to feel the ocean breeze. It was dark and I herd clop, clippity, clop coming down the road. Then there was heavy breathing. Did I mention that my husband was sleeping outside by the fire? Well he was. After hearing all this noise I got up to look outside and there was this great big cow sniffing my husband! Had he not been there, that cow probably would have come in the tent!!! Guess he was looking for Curt. Good thing my husbandÂ’s snoring scared him away. hehe
To this day, that is my most favorite place to camp. Come to find out, the cows run free! Maybe next time IÂ’ll bring some rope. NOT. Bring on the cows!!!....my cardÂ….
Another Mutnik drawing, coloring with copics and chalk pastels. The bg was a left over that for the life of me I canÂ’t remember how I did it. All I know is that is worked great for todayÂ’s scene.
Well, thatÂ’s it for now. Hope CurtÂ’s camp guard dog wakes him upÂ…Â…TFL :0)

Cathy, a great story! Love that bg and your peaceful scene of camping in the rough on the golf course!! My idea of camping in the rough is a hotel without 24 hour room service...

Wot - no gelli plate! A wonderful night sky, instead, and a great setting for Curt and his sweet little watchdog.
Your story reminded me of the time we once had some cows in our garden. Goodness knows where they came from, given that we were up a no-through road with the nearest farm a couple of miles away. But they sure made a mess!!
