This is my card for this weekÂ’s color challenge #422. I am your hostess and I chose elegant eggplant, melon mambo and river rock for our colors.
The dessert option is to use text as the focal point of the card or as a sentiment to complement your image.
For my card I used this week’s MFT Wednesday sketch #119 for my layout. My bg panel is melon mambo dsp from the SU collection “sunshine and sprinkles”.
The elegant eggplant rectangle layer I used a SU border and edge punch. Layered river rock dsp over that panel. Used a Spellbinders oval and stamped my sentiment . The sentiment is from MFT.
TO complete my card I used a chevron cut from elegant eggplant and added some melon mambo ribbon.
ThatÂ’s my sample for this week. Hope you can play along with us.

Love your card and I really did end up loving these colors! On your gorgeous card, the melon is so pretty and makes a lovely background for your sentiment. I LOVE your eggplant rectangle, I thought for sure that was a die cut! Beautiful! The chevron is such a cool element and really adds a bit of excitement! Awesome card Mary!!!
