Peggy gave us the following striking colors for this week:
Black
Baja Breeze
Calypso Coral
I had seen a video tutorial on Heather Nichol's blog which inspired me to try her technique. I used the same PTI images as she did since they lend themselves so well with all their line detail. I used reinkers as watercolors. Since I had stamped my images on Fine Linen(a neutral), the Baja Breeze got a greenish tinge because of the color of the paper. No green was used on this card.

I will check out the tutorial on Heather's blog cause I love the results you got here. I know what you mean about the leaf colors. My card today used blue and ivory Copics and I got some green tones. These flowers really pop on that black bg.

I've always loved that floral image and your coloring of it is gorgeous. Love the way you managed to use the Baja for the leaves - I kept trying to figure out how to do that today and ended up cheating a bit and tossing some green in : (

What a pretty card Sallie!! I love the textured card stock with the patterned flowers and leaves. I love the way you did your sentiment also - very eye catching.
