I made this card for this week's CAS and MMTPT challenges. I have never done the chalkboard techinque before and it was fun. May have to try this again sometime. I used a very old SU set Painted Garden as it reminds me of someone drawing on a chalkboard, so felt it was perfect for this technique. I used bashful blue, certainl celery and white chalk to color my kraft ink image. And smeared it a little to look like chalk dust. Thanks for looking.

super job on the chalkboard effect...I havent tried it yet, but might have to give it a try...does look neat. and how can a pretty blue flower NOT cheer one up...his fav. color too....TFS..:0)

That flower definitely looks like something drawn with chalk! What a perfect image for this week's challenge! This was a technique I hadn't used before either and I think I like it too!

Very CAS AND pretty card for both challenges! Been wanting to try this too for the CAS challenge but couldn't figure out how to make it CAS. You did it beautifully! Love it.

How fun that you used the chalkboard technique for Donnie! Your little flower is so sweet and I love the colors you used! We can all pray that you are right and Spring really is here!!!
