Stephanie gave us the website of "Madewell" for our inspiration. I chose this BEACH BLANKET with purple and blue stripes. I'm still having fun with my Gelli Plate. I created my own design plate with the instructions on their website using fun foam and carpet tape. The main panel of my card is one layer except for the rhinestone star.

Edited to add: It was brought top my attention that the link to the beach blanket brings up a teal patterned one....that is true. But if you click the color option of the blue/purple stripe, you will see the one that was my inspiration.

I am lovin' all the stuff you are trying lately. When I get a minute, maybe I will do the same. I hope your snow doesn't give you any problems. I think this one is missing us in WI. and this time it's OK with me.

You are making some wonderful b/g with your gelli plate. This is gorgeous. I love the dark block w/ the stars.
My friend Nancy and I are going to play with this idea when I'm back to stamping.

Sallie your background is gorgeous!!! You and Cathy (Mutnik) have me so intriqued with these gelli creations! Your card uses such pretty colors with the purple and the bits of blue and all the mixes of colors with the two! Love your stars and sweet sentiment too! Now I am off to go look up this technique!!!
