This is my entry for Round 1 of the CAS Spring DT Search!
We are to think, "Macy's" and "make up" and try to use something other than the usual stamp and ink pad on a card.
I die cut the letter U and then dry embossed it in my favorite pattern...chevron! I dug through my stash of paints and embossing powders, settling on my Pearl Ex powders. I borrowed my boys' white Elmers school glue and applied a layer of that to the lower corner of my panel of kraft cardstock before applying the Pearl Ex powders in 3 different shades (pink, lavendar, gold). For good measure, I applied a light misting of sparkly, clear Smooch spray over that. The letter U is popped up with some foam dots.
I tend to go au natural when it comes to make up, but don't mind a hint of color and shine in the form of lip gloss! Thus, the kraft card base and the touch of color!

Now how cool is this!! I love how you used the powders with glue, and added the texture on the U. This card to me, shows the CAS concept pefectly...simple can definetely pack a punch!
