The journalling reads "WeÂ’d had over a month of rain and record floods and our wedding ceremony had been planned for outdoors. Just an hour before the ceremony, at the house, the sky clouded over and blackened darker than IÂ’ve ever seen in Calgary. It absolutely poured! Todd was at the site, on the other side of the city, getting things ready. I didnÂ’t hear from him so I decided that I couldnÂ’t worry. He and Kevin would have figured everything out and weÂ’d still have a great day even if the ceremony had to be inside.
To my surprise as we neared the park, the sky was clear and there was no rain. You have to love the differences and changes in weather in Calgary! The onl;y natural challenge we had to deal with was the mass of mosquitos. We had a choice of at least five different mosquito sprays for our guests, and ourselves.
The entire ceremony went smoothly and was as wonderful as we could ever have imagined! I just love looking at these photos that our friends provided us with. They create a whole different view of the ceremony and add a dimension that as a participant, one could never have imagined. One of my favourite activities is to look at Caitlyn and DarrenÂ’s actions and facial expressions!"
