I like to use shading, so it has multiple shades of oranges and reds, starting with the darker colors towards the center. Once misted with water, they all just mold and mesh together. I did the same with the greens for the leaves. Super easy, and with this technique, I color directly on the stamp with my WC crayons and then mist the stamp with water (see Beate's terrific instructions under resources). After stamping, I only give it one more mist, and then stamp again. The more water the stamp has, the darker the image is. The "splotch" that looks darker on the top right of the flower is Super Copper Pearl-ex. Hard to see in the photo, but I outlined the right edge of the entire right half of the flower, stem, and bottom half of the leaf. (Then I used Shimmering PE by adding to hairspray and giving a fine mist).
