Josh, I've missed this place...but you know it's like best friends...you just pick up where you left off...like no time passes...opps...I digress.
I am trying a 2fer today...the CC409 Red Pirouette Wonder and of course da Mudder's Tea Party! When I read the story of Beauty I knew I needed to bring my beauty to the party. Don't you just adore these Art Impressions vultures...such beauty only a mother could appreciate, right?????
For the color challenge, I used a Basic Grey paper from 'Sugar Rush' to stamp the Stampland Duncan quote. A tiny rose red clothespin holds the snippet of wisteria twill to the edge of the panel. The birds are stamped directly to the cardstock with gathering twig TH distress ink and very lightly colored with Copics. I gussied up Beauty with just a touch of red glitter. I mean she's trying to remember those WILD days!
Thanks so much for taking the time to read my thought process...it has been a blast to get back to being inky!

Susan glad you're back! This card is hilarious..love the red sparkly boa and the sentiment! These birds remind me of Gertrude and Heathcliff (from Red Skelton)...too funny!
