For the inspiration I was inspired by a couple items, I first saw this wall art and liked the colors then this buffet and liked the stripes.
I couldnÂ’t find a name for this technique which I seen on Pinterest on at least three cards, though none with my color combo or layout. The image is stamped with colored ink first then stamped again with Versamark offset from the first stamping and heat embossed with white powder. I then masked off the border and ink distressed the panel, the ink wonÂ’t stick to the heat embossed image so wipe it with a dry paper towel.
The ovals were cut with Spellbinder Nestabilities. The partial white border on the top was cut with a craft knife using the same Nestabilities that cut the Sahara Sand border as the template. It is attached to the card base and the image panel is popped up with foam tape over it.
The embossing folders are Stripes and Square Lattice from Stampin Up. I used the negative embossing technique which is inking up the negative side of the folder before embossing the card stock to add color. I use a brayer to ink the folder.
The Perfect Layers tools from Perfect Paper Crafting was used to cut the straight borders. Use any brand craft knife or rotary cutter for cutting. A tutorial video can be found on the company site. 1/16” and 1/8” was used on this card.

Beautiful!! Love the shadow technique and the colors used for it. So elegant and serene looking. I like how you did the white outer oval on the top only. Into my favorites!
