This week our destination is San Antonio, Texas and our guest of honor is Sherry. Sherry was brought to our attention by fellow SCSer and faithful Teapotter, Phyllis ( SparklePlenty 1000 ). Sherry is the life-long friend of Phyllis and is struggling with the loss of her husband last year in a tragic accident and limitations of her own from injuries she sustained herself.
We were asked to make floral cards with kind sentiments, like "Thinking of You".
I had so much fun with the TLC challenge this week, that I decided to make another faux pressd flower card. I tried to stay with the colors in the photo example and added a little yellow butterfly. I think I am going to add a little shimmer to the butterfly...yep....needs a little more sparkle!
Sorry I am so late in posting, I helped my Mom with errands most of the day, and now my computer is acting up. I could only save one of the photos I took of this card and it is so slow. But, this card will go in the mail tomorrow! Thanks for taking a peek and Phyllis, all my best to You and your Pal!!!

This is gorgeous Kathy. I have always wanted to try this technique and haven't dove in yet. The colors are so pretty and the embossing looks beautiful. I am sure Sherry will treasure this card.

Computer problems are the worst! Well, no, I know they're not, but they are a real pain! What a lovely bunch of pressed flowers for Sherry - the colours are so bright and cheerful and happy-making.
